Previous events held at Dry Doddington village hall
Opening Night 2021
To welcome back our community post Covid-19 and to show off the newly refurbished village hall, we held an evening to celebrate with the rock 'n' roll band 'One Way Ticket'. A superb evening that was a great success, with everyone happy to 'out, out' again. Thanks to Harry's Bar and the Barista Bakehouse for making sure we were all watered and fed well!
Summer Fete 2019
A fantastic event that saw people come from far and wide to join in the festivities. Holding games across our village green, food and drink vans, vintage cars on show, amazing Morris Dancers, all throughout the day. Then a night time of bands and music!
Easter Family Event 2020
An event for all the family that included face painting, arts and crafts, an Easter bonnet competition, games and much more. A great day for the kids and the parents!
Winter Concert Spectacular 2019
A tremendously dramatic night of music by the hugely talented Newark Town Band. Bringing us renditions from shows, films and marches. A sell out event that we will be repeating, so watch this space...
Exercise classes
From yoga to boxercise - our village hall has seen some fitness action! And when it's hot, the sessions can even be held outside on our green.
Making our village more welcoming
Our community came together to help plant some much needed colour around our village in the form of flowers. Kindly funded by the Westborough & Dry Doddington Parish Council.
